GEIST and the ghost symbol represent two ideas: 
Transparency - A brand that is transparent in process and encourages consumers to look through the product and see what is outside the label.
Transition - The death of fast fashion is a concept we celebrate. Our name and ghost symbol represent what comes after the death of the old. We are the now, the way forward.

GEIST Label was originally created because I myself was struggling to find clothing that aligned with all my personal requirements and values. As a creative professional who is conscious of my footprint, I wanted something casual, high-quality, made from organic materials and that made me feel great when I put it on. Staples for everyday wear and key pieces that allow me to explore and express my creative side.

It has taken years to find partners who are able to facilitate this vision with us. We explored factories all over the world, including in Australia, but very few were able to provide the quality and transparency that we demand.

Nothing about what we do is ‘off the shelf’. Every garment is designed in-house in Melbourne, and then manufactured using the highest quality materials and manufacturing processes.

We use only 100% organic cotton, minimal synthetics, zero animal products, and produce lower volumes to avoid waste. You can learn more about our values and commitments by looking Outside the Label.
